Odds To Win The MLB 2014 World Series As Of Right Now

Right on cue with the Masahiro Tanaka signing, the Yankees jumped from +1400 to +1200 to win the World Series.  if you heeded my advice, you received them at the 1st odd.

it was the 2nd recommendation that came in really nicely.  I also said the Mariners were great value at +4000, and once they signed Robinson Cano, they vaulted to +3300.

So who is a bigger longshot to win the World Series now.  The Gambling Pundits, dropped the Rays to +2000 now.  It is now one of the best value picks on the board.

I finally decided to put my money where my mouth is with a wager.  After the Superbowl, I will likely throw down so more cash.

How is it that the Rays have had a decent off season, still maintain David Price as of this minute, will have a full year of Wil Myers and Chris Archer, and the Blue Jays are higher favorites? Here is an acronym for you GYHAS! Give Your Head A Shake!

Stupidly, the Jays remained with their +1800 odd (still the worst value on the board.)

I mean the Rays look to keep David Price for now, have signed Grant Balfour, and are 2nd in wins the last 6 years in the MLB, averaging almost 90 wins per campaign in that time frame.

Also, Baltimore should be right around where the Mariners are at (+3300).  They are the 5th odd on the board in the AL East for the list, yet tied for 14th in the best odd.

I think the Yankees should be tied with the Boston Red Sox now for the odds.

I still like the Rangers to be the favorite in the AL, but I understand it is about strength of competition in the AL West.  The Tigers have an easier path to the playoffs in the AL Central.

The Giants and DBacks are great value plays if the Dodgers sustain any key injuries.

It is my belief, that the Atlanta team will take a serious step in the 2014 season. The club has not made any big moves - and has lost Brian McCann and Tim Hudson. For right now, they should be in the +2500 range with the Pirates and O's - and not in the top 10 for World Series Odds.

It is my belief, that the Atlanta team will take a serious step in regression for the 2014 season. (due largely to the Washington Nationals). The club has not made any big moves – and has lost Brian McCann and Tim Hudson. For right now, they should be in the +2500 range with the Pirates and O’s – and not in the top 10 for World Series Odds.  Of course they could still eradicate this with spending some $$, however right now steer clear of this odd!
