Ike Davis came off the bench to launch a walk off, come from behind grand slam to give the Mets a 6-3 victory over the Reds.
James Loney smacked a 2 run 8th inning double that turned a 4-3 Rangers lead to a 5-4 Tampa Bay advantage that they would hold on to for the win.
Jose Fernandez dominated again. This time
Felix Hernandez retired the first 11 Oakland batters he faced. He continued his shutout into the 9th and finished with 1 run over 8 1/3 innings, getting the 3-1 win for the Mariners.
They owned baseball on April.5, 2014.

Earning 1/2 WOBs in losing efforts...
Johnny Cueto pitched 7 strong innings, striking out 9 Mets and allowing just 2 runs. He got the tough luck no decision as the bullpen melted down in Cincinnati’s 6-3 walk off loss.
Adam LaRoche reached base 4 times, clubbing a 2 run homer in the process. Very few other Nationals contributed, however and Atlanta won 6-2.
Jacoby Ellsbury got 3 hits in the lead off spot. But the Yankees got nothing from the 3, 4, 5 or 6 batters and Ellsbury never scored in their 4-0 loss in Toronto.
