The MLB offseason thus far has been a mixed bag, to say the least.
With rumors of players like David Price and Matt Kemp being traded during the winter meetings, every deal thus far has seemed like a letdown.
While the price tag on Masahiro Tanaka continues to rise and drop teams like the Chicago White Sox out of the race, according to Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago-Sun Times, there are still several players on the market who can improve teams' rosters.
Along with Tanaka, several free-agent pitchers remain on the market, like Bronson Arroyo and Matt Garza. On the offensive side end, Mark Reynolds has been tied to several teams lately.
With pitchers and catchers beginning to report on Feb. 6, here are some remaining players looking to sign deals with new teams before spring training begins.
Arroyo Coming to Hollywood?
As if the Los Angeles Dodgers need any more pitching help now that they have Clayton Kershaw locked up to a new, huge contract, they are still searching for another starting pitcher to add to the bottom of the rotation. With Arroyo still on the free agent market, the Dodgers are showing interest in the 36-year-old veteran.
According to Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports, it appears the Dodgers are closing in on the right-hander:
Over the course of his career, Arroyo has been a picture of consistency. The righty has never been an overpowering pitcher, but his 200 innings or more in eight of his last nine seasons proves that he is durable enough to help any team.
After posting a 14-win season last year, adding Arroyo might be the first move that the Dodgers make. Still showing interest in Tanaka, L.A. could end up with one of the best pitching staffs in the National League.
Garza the Angel?
For all the tossing around that has taken place with Matt Garza over his career, he has still been successful at nearly every stop along the way. Despite being dealt to the Chicago Cubs in 2011 and traded to the Texas Rangers last season, Garza has posted an ERA below 4.00 in the last seven seasons.
After seeing numbers like that, the Los Angeles Angels appear to be ready to make a deal with the 30-year-old starter. According to Jon Morosi of Fox Sports, Angels owner Arte Moreno has already been involved in talks with Garza:
Considering that the Angels own a not-so-promising rotation after Jered Weaver and C.J. Wilson, adding Garza to the third or fourth spot in the rotation would be a perfect fit.
Though the deal has not been made yet, the Angels appear to be serious in their discussions with Garza. While they might not be looking to make the huge splash with Tanaka, adding a proven starter in Garza could bolster the Angels' chances to get to the postseason out of the tough AL West.
Reynolds Signing Soon, Nationals Interested
After a decent season split between the Cleveland Indians and New York Yankees, Reynolds is looking for possible suitors that have a need at either first or third base. It appears Reynolds might have found five teams looking for his talents.
According to Jon Heyman of CBS Sports, one of those teams interested is the Washington Nationals:

The Nationals already have Adam LaRoche at first base and Ryan Zimmerman at third, so it doesn't appear Reynolds would have a starting role. But adding the extra bat might be perfect for a Washington team looking to rebound from not making the playoffs last year.
Though Reynolds has finished four different seasons with more than 200 strikeouts, the 30-year-old slugger has also averaged 28 home runs over his last four seasons. With a bat like that coming off the bench for either LaRoche or Zimmerman, the Nationals would add depth to an already talented roster.
