That Awkward Moment When a Cleveland Indians Fan Encounters a Native American

There has been a lot of debate in recent years about whether professional sports teams should change their Native American nicknames and logos.

The Cleveland Indians have been phasing out their Chief Wahoo logo in recent seasons, but some fans have continued to dress up in its likeness.

The photo above appears to have been taken at a protest across from Progressive Field before the Indians' home opener on Friday.

The Associated Press identified the person to the left in the photo as Robert Roche, an Apache Native American.
