Runs Survivor For Games Played Through Apr.24: Giants Are The Second Team To Complete 11 Run Variations

The Giants were the 2nd team to finish out the 11 different run totals from 0 - 10 runs scored for a contest.  They used 2 HRs from Mike Morse, and a hitters park in Coors Field to carry out the task.  Brandon Belt also did some yard work to tie Mark Trumbo for the NL lead in HRs.  With The Diamondback player being out with a stress fracture, Belt could end up hitting more HRs in the long run.  SF has withstood slow starts from Pablo Sandoval (

This should turn out to be quite fun.  A lot of gambling establishments have this sort of deal, and it will be fun to see the results.


What Runs Survivor is, a MLB team scoring 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, 10 or (10+) in different games throughout the course of the season.


Once a club has one of these run totals once, you cross it off and keep going until they complete the 11 different variations.


The Giants were the second team to complete the feat yesterday, scoring 12 runs in their game at Coors Field.  They took advantage of the 10 or 10+ bracket.  It was only a matter of time before they were able to do this.


There are 6 teams in the AL who have 10/11 – and there are 4 more teams who have 10/11 in the NL.  The majority of the last remaining runs scored needed range for either 8 or 9 runs in 1 game.


The Rays have 10 different run totals in their games so far, and still require a game with 6 runs scored.  Out of the 10 teams that need just one result, Tampa is the only team to need a total with less than 7 runs.  They would be my pick to complete this next, as no club has a 10 (or (10+) variation left out of those 9 other squads.

I still don't like the composition of the offense, and their are several injury prone throwers in the Pitching Staff as well.
